This is because Microsoft updated some certificate information and pidgin needs a little update. Just download the newest version of pidgin and install. The new certificate files will be automagically installed for you.

What is the solution of for the message of the certificate for could not be validated. the certificate chain presented is invalidate.the certificate chain presented is invalid

suman Chandra shil – if you use pidgin, download the new version and install it. If you are asking what the real solution is under the hood, it is a little more complicated. THe simplified version is that there is a certificate missing, and it has to be imported manaully or you have to download the new version which has it built in. If you are a more advanced user, you can figure it out from this old pidgin but report –
